Sean Neely
Sean Neely

As President, Sean leads the RealTerm Energy team by directing the daily application of our organization’s vision: to deliver innovative energy solutions where integrity and transparency are held to the highest standards.

Sean is a recognized business leader and senior executive with an extensive range of international experience across several sectors: energy efficiency, real estate development, acquisitions and financing.

With a proven track record of succeeding in particularly complex and regulated environments, Sean is acknowledged as highly intentional and goals-oriented. His skillset equips him for the formidable task of developing the team’s initiatives related to strategic acquisitions and new business development, while maintaining mindful and conservative oversight of RealTerm Energy.

Sean is a graduate of Yale University with a BA double major in Economics and Political Science.

Kerry Wilson
Managing Director, Business Solutions
Kerry Wilson

A founding partner of RealTerm Energy, Kerry is responsible for the execution of our corporate strategy, and brings to our team more than 25 years of investment banking, public/private partnership, infrastructure development, project finance and commercial brokerage experience. Kerry develops and maintains the highest standards in our relationships with our municipal clientele and partner firms.

Kerry’s impact upon the firm was recently acknowledged by an invitation to speak to the World Bank in Washington DC about RealTerm Energy’s highly successful work with LAS in developing and delivering our firm’s joint procurement model throughout Ontario.  At that meeting, The World Bank recognized our results over the past three years as “remarkable” and among the best practices in the world.   Under Kerry’s leadership, we will continue to offer our assistance to the World Bank as it proceeds to expand its own energy efficient lighting projects in the developing world.

Kerry has a BA (Economics) from the University of Victoria and an MBA from McGill University in Montreal.

Angelos Vlasopoulos
Chief Financial Officer
Angelos Vlasopoulos

Angelos is responsible for the financial integrity of the company and the direction of our expanding geographic footprint, including our M&A activities as we grow into new jurisdictions. Angelos is a Certified Public Accountant and brings with him almost 20 years of corporate accounting, finance and operations experience in both private and public sector companies. Previously, Angelos was a Vice President at Brookfield Asset Management and held the position of Chief Financial Officer of MediSolution Ltd. He has also worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP, and was most recently the President and Chief Executive Officer at Aeson Leeds Inc., as well as sitting on the Board of Directors of Pyrogenesis Inc.

Mark Carter
Vice President, Sales
Mark Carter

As Vice President, Sales, Mark is responsible for providing leadership and driving both strategy and growth across RealTerm Energy’s sales teams. His role is critical in both developing and implementing our strategic initiatives as well as monitoring our national sale teams’ performance to ensure desired goals and targets are met and/or exceeded.

Mark’s formidable sales and operations experience in directorial roles at renowned organizations across the U.S., such as Honeywell International, lends itself well to RealTerm Energy. As an entrepreneurial leader, he has overseen sales functions with teams of various sizes in multiple markets including automation controls, enterprise software, embedded semiconductor and lighting controls.

Joining RealTerm Energy following his Director, Sales position with a lighting company that enjoys a global presence, Mark is an excellent communicator with a solution sales approach to identify our clients’ underlying needs. He excels at fostering long-term business development relationships from CEO to end-user and is a thoughtful and innovative member of the RealTerm Energy management team. 

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.

Jean-Simon Venne
Vice President, Smart Solutions
Jean-Simon Venne

Jean-Simon Venne is a tech expert who thrives on standing up new technology to solve long-standing commercial issues. He has over 25 years of experience in the fields of telecommunications, biotechnology and energy-efficiency specializing in the fast and efficient migration of technology innovations to commercial applications.  With an industrial engineering background, Mr. Venne is uniquely trained to optimize the value creation opportunity that exists where new technology intersects with business and energy markets.  

Prior to joining our team, he was responsible for the successful integration of M2M technology in over 200 Smart Buildings spread across North America, Europe and the Middle East. Jean-Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B. Eng. - Industrial Engineering) from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal and a Certificate in Logistics from the University of Georgia Tech.


Fernando Araujo
Director Project Management
Fernando Araujo

Fernando is responsible for overseeing the operational department teams, ensuring they achieve project tasks, managing the planning and delivery of projects. Fernando brings over 20 years of project management experience, with deep construction roots and a proven ability to manage in complex and diverse environments. Prior to joining RealTerm Energy, Fernando was an MEP Project Manager at Construction Santé Montréal. He was previously a Project Manager for major North American ESCOs Trane and Johnson Controls, successfully managing energy savings projects with guaranteed paybacks.

Fernando holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Québec Order of Engineers and the Québec Order of Professional Technologists.

Scott Vokey
Director of Government Relations and Community Solutions
Scott Vokey

Scott is responsible for building relationships with all orders of government and ensuring that our new and existing services exceed local expectations. With over 11 years of municipal association experience, he has developed a wide range of policies and delivered energy conservation, generation, and planning services to hundreds of local governments. As the former Energy Services Manager for Local Authority Services (LAS), Scott was instrumental in setting up and managing a number of government energy efficiency programs in Ontario, chief among them the LAS/RealTerm Energy partnership, which has delivered turnkey LED streetlight upgrades to almost 150 cities and towns throughout the province of Ontario. Scott joined Kerry Wilson at the invitation of the World Bank in Washington DC to speak about our highly successful joint-procurement delivery model for LED streetlight upgrades.

Scott has graduate degrees from Queen’s University and the University of Toronto.
