Energy-efficiency Belt Stretching Across Ontario

August 01, 2014

There’s an energy-efficiency belt across Ontario’s Highway 11 currently comprised of five townships - each committed to infrastructure initiatives resulting in energy efficiency and cost savings. Mattice Val-Côté, Opasatika and Val Rita-Harty are the most recent to join Kapuskasing and Cochrane in upgrading to LED streetlights.

RealTerm Energy says thanks to the Kapuskasing Times for its coverage of this LED streetlight trend.

The belt reaches to the southeast as well with McGarry, Black River-Matheson and Kirkland Lake joining more than 50 other municipalities across Ontario that have upgraded to LED streetlight systems with Local Authority Services(LAS) and RealTerm Energy in the past 12 months.
