LED Streetlight Upgrade Meets Espanola’s Five-year Energy Plan Goals

Reducing annual town expenses and conserving energy are high priorities for the Town of Espanola in Ontario. The town’s upgrade to light-emitting diode (LED) streetlights addresses both priorities by cutting energy costs by up to 45% in the first year and reducing electrical consumption by 61% per year. Installation of Espanola’s new LED streetlights will be done during late August and early September.
