RealTerm Energy Gives Back to the Community

October 10, 2017
RealTerm Energy, Old Brewery Mission

The Mission, which assists over 4,000 homeless men and women each year, depends on private donations and volunteers to help its clients rebuild their lives. Using volunteer hours that make up a part of the firm’s corporate social responsibility policy, team members jumped at the chance to do some good. In addition to delivering a monetary donation on behalf of RealTerm Energy, the group rolled up their sleeves and helped in the Mission’s kitchen by serving up food to its diners on a rainy October night.

“This endeavor has been such a great example of the culture of our firm,” shared Maria Regunaga, Marketing Manager at RealTerm Energy. She continued, “When we announced this initiative, team members signed up immediately. Our CSR policy, complemented by our employees having volunteer hours to use at their disposal, were all we needed to move this forward. The firm’s monetary gift to the Mission ended up being the icing on the cake.” This was a humbling and rewarding experience and Flora Anoia, a proposal writer at RTE, summed up the evening perfectly, “I so appreciated the opportunity to serve the more needy members of our community and to do so alongside the great people I work with made this all the more special.”

RealTerm Energy is proud of its people and their continued efforts to improve the world around us.
